When visiting a mosque in Istanbul, women are required to cover their heads, shoulders, and knees. You can bring your own headscarf to cover your head, but please note that there is a scarf available (for a fee) at the entrance of every mosque. If you are wearing leggings, tights, or a skirt, a shawl will be provided at the entrance (for a fee).
